Description: | This jeep has never been restored it is original condition and is very nice. no touch up, body work, rebuilds of anykind. The frame, brakelines, suspension, etc.., are still factory black with no touch up. No rust ever!! Also the body has all factory panels including windsheild with no rust ever!! the paint is factory white with mother of pearl clear over top. the graphics were painted on when jeep was new at dealership. The paint has alot of paint chips and laquer cracks, but is still very good looking, and shines great. It gets jaw dropping compliments where ever it goes.
The drivetrain and engine.. The history or story of the jeep goes as follows. It was purchased at Benson Rambler AMC in Jackson MI. and has been in that community its whole life. upon delivery the owner requested a GM v8 engine swap. The owner sold Bensons the original engine back, and they proceeded to do the swap. They did all of this when the jeep had 9 miles on it. The engine is a 350 with weber competition race carb, edelbrock intake, accel ignition,a massive cam, etc..the trans is a built turbo 350 with 2500 stahl converter. It has 4:11 gears, and is very fast and very loud.
This jeep is a true survivor. The only reason the jeep is in such good condition is it was built specially for the Silver Lake sand dunes in MI. This is the only place miles were logged. Hence the extrmeley low mileage. It has never been in rain snow or any elements. Thanks for looking if you have any questions Ill be happy to answer them
