 Description: | | I bought this truck 4 years ago and it had some of the normal problems a Jeep of this age would have. It has moderate rust on body but the frame is sound. The engine when first started blows out the typical blue smoke, which is fixed with new valve stem oil seals. The passenger side wheel well has a little body damage (please see photos). The air conditioning doesn’t work. All gauges work except about 3 months ago the speedometer stopped working, but I can show that it has less than 110,000 original miles. Since I’ve owned her I have put a dual exhaust system (this year did not require a catalytic converter) and with a 360 V8 she sounds really fierce. As well, I put a high performance distributor; I upgraded the headlights and the headlight wiring. I put 2004 Grand Cherokee seats in her and the driver’s side seat has power front, back, up and down. I put Herculiner on the floorboards, as well as put 4 33 x 12.5 Procomp mud terrains, 4 inch black diamond lift kit, new rear brakes and it just recently passed Virginia State inspection. The four wheel drive works (Quadra-trac, which is an all wheel drive system) has high and low transfer case. The cap is original manufacturer’s equipment. The dash is as I bought it, so someone must have attempted to put a radio, etc. with not much success. I have tried to describe this vehicle as best I can (the good and the bad) but the specifics are too many to list. I’m selling this vehicle because I have just purchased a 2008 Wrangler to modify.
