 Description: | | This is a great 1962 Willy's Wagon. Mechanically it is in excellent condition. The Wagon is a '62 1/2 as it has the Tornado engine - one of the first overhead cam, 6-cylinder engines designed and built in the US. The engine has been professionally rebuilt and during the rebuild, all Willy's Overland service bulletin instructions were followed, which successfully stopped the oil leaks for which the engine was famous. It now runs incredibly smooth and does not leak oil. The carburetor has also been completely rebuilt and has the original oil bath air cleaner. The brake lines and drums are new, as are the springs, shocks and clutch. Lights and turn signals have always worked. The interior has been repainted and reupholstered with vinyl. Overall the Jeep is in great condition and is reliable transportation as a daily driver. |
