The 2009 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara that was modified is extreamely well cared for and pampered. The vehicle is either kept in a climate controlled garage or occasionally on a carport. It does not sit out. Most of the low miles that were put on the Jeep before the supercharger was added were vacation highway miles. This Jeep has been on a trip from Missouri to Arkansas, a trip to Florida and a trip to Colorado. It is a wonderful vacation vehicle whether on the beaches of Florida or driving a mountain trail at 12 thousand feet with the top folded back. I drove the Jeep for 12k miles and the whole time I thought it needed more power. I did a lot of research looking for the best power increase and this is definitely it. It has lots of torque now and cruises interstate speeds effortlessly. Before it felt like I was always standing heavy on the throttle and it was always going in and out of overdrive - always. I found it tiresome but it finally has plenty of power now.
When I drive this Jeep I get compliments all the time about the color combo. Thats actually the reason I bought it in the first place. I thought the Sunburst Orange Pearl Coat, (2009 color only) Dark Khaki soft top, silver bumper inserts and BIG 18 wheels were beautiful. I actually bought the vehicle, got home and looked at the window sticker before I even realized it had the 3.73 gears, locking rear axle and satelite radio. And this is in addition to all of the standard features of the Sahara package. One of the first things I noticed about this Jeep the first time I drove it was the 7 speaker infinity sound system with sub woofer. The tunes are spectacular - even with the top down. This is especially important when traversing that long distance across Kansas headed for Colorado (sorry KS residents).
The condition of this Jeep is like new. It has never been in any kind of mishap or touched up anywhere. There isnt a single door ding anywhere either. The only flaw in the paint is a small scratch about 1/4 long and the thickness of a needle that I did to it while on vacation getting stuff out of it. That first one hurts. Its on the LR fender flare. The interior is in the same like new condition. If you see a brand new 4dr Sahara on the lot with Dark/Medium Khaki interior then you know how this one looks inside. I always keep my Jeep clean, waxed and serviced. Speaking of service, the oil was changed everytime at the dealer where I bought the Jeep and the only warranty repair has been a new pair of wiper blades.
