 Description: | 1948 willys jeep flatbed truck
Chevy ½ ton truck frame completely redone.
Both Chevy axles are completely rebuilt with 3.7 gears
The rear axle has a powertrax locker and moser axles
All springs are new.
The engine is a 1983 454 ci that is bored .30 over the block was checked for any problems. The crank is a new steel unit. The rods have been reconditioned. The engine has been balanced. The pistons are Keith black 9.5 to 1 units. The heads are oval port units that have been port matched and the ports and combustion chambers have been cleaned up. The rocker arms are Crane roller rockers. All bolts are arp .
The cam is a Comp cams roller cam. The intake is Edelbrock Air-Gap with a Holley 750 cfm. The distributor is a Pertronix billet unit
The engine has been set back 10 inches.
The Trans is a turbo 350 that has been rebuilt with a B&M master kit and a B&M shifter
The Gas tank is a Summit 15 gal fuel cell with a Holley electric fuel pump.
The Radiator is a custom unit designed to handle 600 hp.
I put only the best stuff in this baby.
The Truck took 3.5 years to build and cost me over $15,000.00. |
