 Description: | 1952 M38-A1 Tub on a 1974 CJ5 Frame with CJ Drivetrain & Front Clip
The M38A1 tub is in great condition, solid with no rust through, and has all the original data plates intact. The CJ5’s VIN plate has been attached to the firewall for registration purposes. Drive train is the 258 AMC I6 engine, T18A 4 speed transmission, Dana 20 transfer case, Dana 30 front, AMC 20 rear. Currently titled and registered in Illinois title. Jeep always starts right up and runs great. Reason for this sale is that this was originally planned as a father and son project. Turned into my project and although 98% complete, son still has little or no interest. I don’t have the time or interest as I have an M151-A2 project that I sidelined and want to get back to starting its full frame off restoration.

The wiring harness for electric wipers needs to be fabricated. I have an original working harness to copy/duplicate. Other than that you could install a radio, heater or top to customize as desired.
