 Description: | | Up for sale is a beautiful and thoroughly restored early 1946CJ2A (serial # 14533). Frame off restoration by Daryl Bensinger...every component of the vehicle is either original, new old stock or re-manufactured...drives like it just came off the line...strong brakes(new master cylinder, drums, pads, etc), solid new clutch, engine runs cool and starts without significant hassle when cold, complete canvas covered wiring harness, oil bath air cleaner assembly, new solex carb (I have the original should you want to rebuild it), new original style gauges, original speedometer, shifter was changed from column to floor at some point many decades ago, floor starter, chrome headlight rings, toolbox under the passenger seat...body color is gloss white with fire engine red wheels…body condition is immaculate. no scratches or dings what-so-ever...leather covers on the tailgate chains...previous owner (before restoration) re-upholstered the seats (very comfy and cuts down on the vibration) mounted spare rim...uniquely engineered mounting brackets on drivers side hold an axe and shovel (although this was obviously not an original accessory...it gives the jeep some character)...always a parade and show favorite...$16,000 invested…$11,000 O.B.O takes it home. THIS JEEP ABSOLUTELY MUST BE SOLD...
